Food always the same experience, good! People are nice and helpful. Ambiance family oriented.

We tried several restaurants for weekend Menudo nothing comes close to this famous breakfast of champions plate, other places there soup was either cold no flavor like they added more water terrible, but at this restaurant hands down the broth flavor meat etc. is home style and super tasty come get your menudo fix here plus they serve it with fresh hand made tortillas!

This spot is always cracking weekend AM's. Solid food and customer service. Nice salsa and condiments station, easy parking.

This is my Sat ritual after my excercise classes. The crispy tacos are delicious , I get 1 grilled chicken & 1 carnitas. Super burrito is also great, I get carnitas. Awesome salsa & chips too!

My friends are fans, the lunch meet-up group I belong to are all fans, and I sure am. Why you might ask, do we all enjoy coming here? We order at the counter, so there is no problem in figuring out who owes what. The food has always been tasty. The portions are generous. I have never been able to finish a plate which is fine; I bring it home for the next day. Even the al carte orders are big. The last time I was here I ordered tacos and a Chile relleno ala carte I thought it would not be a lot of food. I should have noticed the price before I ordered; it would have given me a hint of how much food I was going to have. I was too embarrassed to ask for them to take something off my order and I was even more embarrassed when two large plates were put in front of me at the table. On the plus side, I did get 5 meals out of this huge order. On a couple of previous visits, I had shrimp Diablo and the bistek ranchero. They were both quite spicy. I usually have them leave off the beans and add extra rice. My favorite menu item is the chili relleno. They roast a good-sized pepper; it is fully stuffed with cheese, and covered with a ranchero sauce. They do a great job of clearing out the pepper seeds. The chips are okay, I do like the salsas. My only quibble is that the salsas are not marked, I do like to know what they are before I put them in the very small cups. The restaurant has always been busy when I've come here and the line can be long. The service is efficient and not particularly friendly. Perhaps that is because I am usually here at lunch when it is busy. A plus is easy parking and the central location near the freeway. I can eat here or take it home quickly and enjoy the food before it is cold.
